Vice President of Procurement and Sustainability
Greg Wysocki is Vice President of Procurement and Sustainability for Blue Apron, a national meal kit company. In his role, Greg oversees Blue Apron’s fulfillment decisions which are carefully managed to minimize waste, as well as the company’s Ingredient Optimization Team which is tasked entirely with waste reduction. Greg has over 25 years of experience leading global supply chain and sourcing across multiple industry segments including food, travel, and hospitality. Prior to Blue Apron, Greg was Vice President of Supply Chain for Guckenheimer Inc., a subsidiary of ISS Group that provides premium contract food services to more than 300 of America’s finest corporations. Greg has also held senior procurement and purchasing positions with Norweigian Cruise Lines, Starwood Hotels, Carnival Cruise Lines, Hardees Inc., and Cargill.
Greg’s passion for sustainability was ingrained since childhood. The youngest of seven children, Greg grew up on a small dairy, beef, and hog farm in Central Wisconsin. His family grew most of what they ate together, including produce and protein they harvested on the farm. Greg later pursued Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin, before beginning a career in sourcing and sustainability.
